This vessel appeared during the Ming Xuande period, with a large and upright body, a majestic momentum, and a simple and honest shape. It is named after its round and spherical abdomen. Sacrificial blue glazed objects are often used during rituals, hence the name Sacrificial Blue Glaze. Also known as Jilan and Gemstone Blue.
