"The Thinker" is a sculpture created by French sculptor August Rodin. In 1880, a plaster model was made with a height of 68.5 centimeters. Currently housed at the Rodin Museum in Paris., It depicts a naked male sitting on a rock, expressing his concern and sympathy for the fate of humanity in a thoughtful manner. This work was originally designed for the central part of Rodin's other giant sculpture, "The Gate of Hell," and later enlarged by Rodin to become a famous work independently. The Thinker is considered one of Rodin's representative works and one of the most influential sculptures in Western art history.
