The medieval church built in red sandstone was donated by David de Burnham on August 3, 1242. They are a model of Scottish church architecture in the late Middle Ages, with sturdy and tall walls. Above the Church of Our Lady is the pastor's office, which is well preserved and has stone window seats that allow for a sideways view of the church.
