龙须岩，位于翔云镇，前临镇中心，背靠象运山，翻过象运山则是云山村。龙须岩建于唐代武宗六年（846年），世传供奉的神像菩提祖师菩萨，属禅门临济宗。龙须岩背依岩峭壁，面临陡坡梯田，酷似流诞母狮抱狮子照日，据《泉州府志》载：“象运山有岩曰龙须，石罅须草，泉循草滴，因名。”龙须岩背南面北，盛夏日照短，气候凉爽，为避暑胜地。历代诗人墨客、名士高贤，常来此寻幽揽胜，留下不少诗篇墨宝。
