The manned space launch center was established in October 1958. Like all "ships" on Earth, manned spacecraft also have the most special "harbor" - the launch site. There are three launch sites capable of launching manned spacecraft: the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in China, the Baikonur Launch Site in the former Soviet Union, and the Kennedy Space Center in the United States.
