Tartu Toomkirik is a historic church located in the center of the second largest city in Estonia, Tartu. It is one of the most important churches in Estonia and a symbolic landmark of the city. The architecture began in the 13th century and was ultimately completed in the late 15th century in a three channel basilica style. It is one of the largest medieval churches in Estonia and Latvia, and the only one with two towers in Estonia. Unfortunately, the Tartu Cathedral has suffered multiple damages in history, leaving only a magnificent ruin.
