As of 2003, GB had sold 0.12 billion units worldwide, and Game Boy was the highest-selling game machine until 2004. Nintendo GB's next-generation handheld is the Nintendo GBA launched in 2001.GB was designed and developed by gamer Junhei Yokoi.
