In the 1970 s, the signal equipment manufacturing plant in Katowice, Poland, produced a special emergency telephone, which was part of the factory equipment and used for emergency communication in industrial facilities. Originally designed for miners, it is suitable for rooms in methane mines and high risk of explosion. The cast iron structure is very strong, can resist mechanical damage, and is suitable for use in harsh industrial environments. Designed with durability in mind, it also has the ability to communicate securely in high-risk environments. Design and manufacturing reflected the emphasis on industrial safety and communication technology at that time, and was an important part of the industrial equipment of that era.
