Thanks to Oculus' ATW (Asynchronous Time Warping) technology, powerful gyroscopes and other sensors built into the Gear VR headset, Samsung's low latency and refresh rate up to 90Hz Amoled screen, and optimized underlying ROM, the overall latency level of Gear VR has finally reached the level of high-performance VR headsets such as Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and PSVR.
