The elk is the only deer animal in the deer family and genus. Because its head and face are narrow and long like horses, its horns are like deer, and it is slightly different from other deer. Its hooves are wide and large like cows, and its tail is slender and long like donkeys, so it is also known as the Four Unlike. It has a unique horn shape, which is exactly opposite to the horns of other deer. The front branch is further divided into small branches, while the back branch is almost unbranched.
