Black Erosion Dragon is a monster that appears in the Monster Hunter series of CAPCOM games. It first appeared as a cover monster in Monster Hunter 4 and later appeared in Monster Hunter 4G, Monster Hunter X, Monster Hunter XX, and Monster Hunter Rise: Dawn. The elusive juvenile ancient dragon, without eyes, relies on black scales to attack and detect the environment, which can also erode the bodies of other monsters. Wherever it passes, corpses are scattered everywhere and can quickly disappear after major destruction, making it a species considered a serious threat to ecological balance by guilds.
