Robert Bruce Banner, also known as Hulk, is a superhero under Marvel Comics in the United States. He first appeared in the first issue of Incredible Hulk (May 1962) and was co created by Stan Lee and Jack Kobe. He is a world-renowned physicist who, in an accident, was exposed to a large amount of radiation from a gamma bomb he created, causing his body to undergo a transformation. Later, whenever he became emotionally agitated and his heart quickened, he would turn into a green monster named Hulk.
