Rocket Raccoon is a superhero under Marvel Comics in the United States, first appearing in the 271st issue of "Incredible Hulk" (May 1982). His name and personality are derived from the Beatles' 1968 song "Rocky Raccoon". His real name is Rocket. He is a genetically modified alien raccoon with human intelligence. He is agile and skilled in various weapons, making him a skilled marksman. At first, he worked as a bounty hunter with Grute in the universe, and later joined the Galactic Guard led by Starlord.
