Genji is a hero in Overwatch. After the unexpected death of his family's daimyo, Genji's brother Hanzo demands that Genji play a more active role in the empire created by his father. But Genji refused, and his refusal angered Hanzo. The resentment between the two brothers ultimately led to a life and death showdown, and Genji almost lost his life as a result. Genji and Overwatch fought together, and Hanzo believed he had killed his own brother. However, Genji was rescued by Overwatch and received the care of Dr. Ziegler.
