It is a porcelain fired in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province during the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368) in the 13th century. Adopting underglaze painting decoration techniques. The sides of the jar are decorated with lion shaped handles, which is one of its most prominent features. It only showcased the highly developed ceramic craftsmanship at that time, and also reflected the aesthetic characteristics of Chinese ceramic art.
