The Western roe deer is a small deer belonging to the Deer family and genus, with a body length of only 95-135 centimeters, a shoulder height of 65-30 centimeters, and a weight of 15-30 kilograms. My cheeks are gray, and my body color is reddish. In summer, it is golden red, and in winter, it deepens to brown or even black. The abdominal color is lighter, with a tuft of white hair near the tail. The tail hair of female deer is heart-shaped, while that of male deer is kidney shaped. The tail is extremely short, only 2-3 centimeters, almost invisible. When startled, they will shout loudly and raise white hair from their tails. Only male deer have horns, short and straight, measuring 5-12 centimeters in length. Unlike other deer, roe deer begin to regrow immediately after their horns fall off.
