This pottery belongs to the Mayan culture, originating from Central America, the Nibaha region, and the late classical period from the 7th to 10th century AD. It is made of ceramics and talc, with an overall size of 16.9 x 15.3 x 15.3 centimeters. This pottery may be used as a political gift, depicting scenes of prisoners of war. The hieroglyphs surrounding the edges are specifically designed for this container, used for drinking high-quality beverages made from cocoa beans. This container is currently housed in the Cleveland Museum of Art.
