Terpsichord is an ancient Roman statue. In Greek mythology, Terpsichord is one of the nine Muse goddesses and a goddess of dance and choir. Her name comes from ancient Greek, meaning "the joy of dancing". She is usually depicted sitting, holding strings, and accompanying dancers and choirs with her music. This statue is currently housed in the Vatican Museum in Italy.
