This cultural relic is a bronze statue called the Three Amitabha statues, made in the 1400 AD. This statue comes from South Korea during the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910 AD). This statue is made of bronze material and has traces of gold plating on it. The overall size of this statue is 40.6 x 16.5 x 54.6 centimeters. Amitabha Buddha sits in the center of the lotus seat, with two attendants on either side: Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva and Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva. The combination of these three was popular in the early Joseon period, and this statue is now a collection of the Cleveland Museum of Art.
