Amenhotep III (between 1403 BC and 1397 BC to 1353 BC) was the ninth pharaoh of the 18th dynasty of ancient Egypt, who reigned for 38 years. Amenhotep III ascended the throne around the age of 6 to 12, and the 18th Dynasty reached its peak during his reign. During the reign of Amenhotep III, the entire Egypt was rich and stable. There is only one record of military activities, which was the war against the Nubians during his early reign, aimed at ensuring security from the Nubian region. The statue was donated by the Hannah Foundation in 1952 and is currently housed in the Cleveland Museum of Art.
