Van Gogh's "Fifteen Sunflower Vases" is a famous still life painting created by Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh in 1888. This painting is part of his "Sunflowers" series created in Arles, France. Van Gogh's Sunflowers series consists of two series of still life paintings. The first series was created in Paris in 1887, depicting flowers lying on the ground, while the second series was created in Arles a year later, showcasing sunflower bouquets in vases. Van Gogh's Sunflower series held an important position in his artistic career. He wrote in his letter to his younger brother that his sunflower paintings represent gratitude.
