Kastel Monastery is a monastery located in the Trier Salburg district of Rhineland Palatinate, Germany. It is located in the Klause Kastel Staadt region, near the mountain range on the right bank of the Rhine River. Built in the 12th century, it is a Romanesque style monastery. It is one of the most important monasteries in the Rhineland Palatinate region and is also part of the region's historical and cultural heritage. It was once an important religious center that attracted many monks and pilgrims.
